generate a series of dates that includes days, weekdays,
months, or years by following these steps:

Enter a beginning date in a cell.

Drag the cell’s Fill handle (dark black square in bottom
right corner of the cell) while pressing the right mouse
button.
When you release
the mouse, choose fill days, fill weekdays, fill months, or
fill years from the shortcut menu that appears
