Symantec AntiVirus (Norton)

Symantec AntiVirus can help prevent viruses from infecting your computer.  If viruses are already present on your computer and then removed, be aware that your computer may not function correctly.  We recommend taking the following measures before installing Symantec AntiVirus. 

Remove viruses first

Windows 2000/XP

1. Restart your computer in safe mode by tapping the F8 key on your keyboard as the computer is restarting.  When the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, use the arrow keys to select the Safe Mode with Networking menu item.

2. Open Internet Explorer and go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp

3. Follow the prompts to scan for viruses and/or spyware/grayware
